Installed a Ported Throttle Body from Mike Norris motorsports. This is my first engine mod, I wanted to install this first before everything else, to see if it indeed made a difference. It did indeed make a difference in the dead spot, the v6's have. Also improved throttle response. Next up is a CAI as soon as I decide which one I want.

No SS or V8 comments needed, and do not hijack my thread.

Nice. I got my TB from Mike Norris, too. It did indeed make a difference for me, too. I've got the AIRAID intake. Now I am eyeing the intake manifold isolators that Mike will have out soon (pre-order available now)

Very much so. The only downside is the big hole that removing the stock air box leaves.

They're thinking that the Vararam might work with the intake isolators from Vmax/norris motorsports.. but they won't know for a few weeks, when norris does testing. When Janetty did dyno testing, the Vararam wasn't out, but the rest of the pack was topped by Injen, then Airaid, and CAI. The Injen was tops at the high end, but a bit louder. The Airaid numbers were a bit better at the low end... there's dyno graphs floating around. Whichever you choose, you should notice a difference. (though I have seen the most people post CEL issues with the K&N for some reason)

The Vararam definitely works. I already preordered the insulator from Mike Norris. Thinking of getting the Solo HFC's and resonators too. I hope the VMax RX insulator works for the Vararam guys.

Regarding the ported TB, I experienced a little more pull at higher speeds.
