Default 2011 vs 2012

Which camaro is better to buy if you want to get the max performance out of the car? I've heard that the integrated head gasket on the 2012 makes it impossible to put headers on the engine.

The 2012 comes with, IIRC, 30 more HP than the 2010/11. It also uses an engine controller that most shops already have tuners for.

Yup, V6. This is the V6 forum.

I would check with the shop that you would use to see if/when they could tune you.

The LFX seems to have a good edge on the LLT. Time will tell, though.

Yes, traditional headers are out, but, that exhaust port seems tailor-made for a turbo install.

Supercharger > turbo. No lag = win!

Supercharger is less hassle than turbo, but either would be fine. Better for the auto than the automatic if you go turbo. The LFX has 323 hp and the LLT has 312 hp. Torque is about the same.
