Agreed. And they don't cry about fast lists. Mike's are also required to have their cars tuned at SLP, so that ends this discussion.

Wow, I didn't know that but funny how it worked out. SLP was the only one local that has a dyno license to do 2011s. Getting a baseline Monday and tune on Wednesday.

Just had the before done this morning on a Mustang Dyno. 377 RWHP & 369 TQ. Not bad for just a CAI. My previous dyno on a Dynajet was 366 HP with only 850 miles. I'm at 2,300 now so the engine has finally opened up. I'm pretty happy with the results today so I should make 410 or more hopefully.

Just finished getting the tune done this afternoon. On the Mustang dyno it made 411 HP and 395 torque. The numbers were pretty much the same before and after the tune. What the tune did change was my timing which was causing minor knocking. He also flattened the AFR as well. The headers and cats really woke the car up on the the lower end. I have a nice consistent increase across the RPM range on the torque.

So in my situation, a tune did not create more peak HP or torque. It did help on timing and AFR. I only drove it 60 miles before getting it tuned and was jumping on it a lot, never threw a code in that short drive.
