Just found out my friend who's a GM at a Chevy dealer has two open allocations for ZL1s. Hadn't really considered it, but after adding up the cost of mods I want to do with my SS I'm thinking I'd be better off trading up. Oh what to do...

Not for his dealership. I talked to him this morning about it. I asked him why he hasn't taken deposits for them. He told me he has had a few informal inquiries but no one putting money down. He didn't seem concerned about selling them, obviously.

All I know is he said he has two open allocations.

The ZL1 is nice but I think I'll keep my SS and the cash I would have spent on the Z.
