Does the 3yr/36K warranty cover the finish on the Fob too? the chrome on the fob (where the keyring goes) has all flaked off of mine, leaving it copper colored underneath...

Yes. Finish is covered. I have to have mine replaced as well for finish. Mine the plastic is peeling tho.
