i plan on attending with the family being in florida. will try to meet up in itasca but since i will already be coming from the west (Iowa) i might just arrive in rockford. depends on how early i leave Iowa on suday.

another trip to Rockford? I'm in for sure! Might I suggest another route instead of 90 West since it is under major construction.

I would agree. A lot of construction. It was hard to stay together without an accordion effect in the back. Maybe 39 north. Just a suggestion.

Bill, when I go back home (west, past Rockford) I always take 88 west to 39 North, which joins back up to I-90. just north of Hooters. (exit off to business US 20/State Street)

From Naperville Rd exit area on 88, Google says it's about 5 minutes longer than leaving from Itasca on 90

88 to 39 is perfect, it's the way I come home.... We can get a pic with us going by the Oasis from the bridge too
