Cruise to Lake Geneva September 18th

Who would like to cruise to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 18? I've put together a cruise route that I think everyone would enjoy travelling with their Camaros.

The plan is to meet at the Jelly Belly factory warehouse in Pleasant Prairie, WI at 9:00am. Enjoy a free half hour tour of the facility, taste free samples of your favorite Jelly Belly flavors like Very Cherry, Mojito and Baby Wipes. After you get your sugar-fix, grab some beans and souvenirs, we'll depart Jelly Belly for the cruise to Lake Geneva no later than 10:30am.

We will travel the country highways and tree lined Rustic Roads to our destination and the fall colors may just be starting by then. Glacial hills and winding roads, including 4 very tight consecutive 45 degree turns, are included on the route. We will be travelling at a safe but brisk pace. We'll make two very quick stops along the way. The first at Bushnell Park in Burlington for some great photo ops and the second in Lyons for a fuel stop if needed and as a possible secondary meet point. We should arrive in Lake Geneva before 1:00pm.

We'll be parking in the free Eastview school parking lot. It's less than 1/2 mile walk to downtown. Once in Lake Geneva we'll have lunch at Carvetti's and then the rest of the afternoon will be yours to shop, explore or take a boat tour.

Sounds like a fun time, Ray.... but my Camaro will be safely parked in the garage... while I'm in .... Alaska...

Now that would be an awesome cruise going up the Alaskan HWY. You should take it with so it's not lonely.

Everybody, if you are not coming alone please let me know how many extras will be with you so I have an estimate of how many people for lunch. I'm already working on something but will need an estimated number eventually. Thanks.
