Another Legendary Cruise to HOOTERS in Rockford. I know that I'm in need of some wings!

George at Hooters has arranged for FREE wing dinner for all Paid C5G members.... "If you are not a full member you can pay your annual dues of $30 at the meet"(12:00) Drinks you have to pay for yourselves for paid and nonpaid members.


Cruise leave time 11:00 Westin Hotel Itasca, 400 Park Blvd. In the Parking Lot in Front of the Hotel.
Itasca, IL 60143 Just east of route 355

Second pick up point for the cruise is Randall Rd and the Northwest Tollway, 11:15 on the Randall Rd Ramp.

Be sure to check/change your batteries in your radios, it's been a while.

ROUTE FOR YOU NEWBEES:

Some Logical Rules/Helpful Tips First

1)YOU WILL PASS STATE TROOPERS ON THIS CRUISE, GUARANTEED!! BE SMART, BE SAFE!

2)We will always attempt to Cruise in the right hand lane at the posted limit, except to maneuver around trucks/slow traffic.

3)AVOID ANY SUDDEN CHANGES IN SPEED AND INDECISION, THEY CAUSE ACCIDENTS

4)PAY ATTENTION! If you look down inside your car when your in a convoy fiddling with something, by the time you look up, its too late!

5)WEAR YOUR SEATBELT, No need to get pulled over for something like that and spoil your whole day.

6)Be mindful, other traffic needs to get on and off the expressway, let them through to enter and exit the ramps.

7) Be very respectful of the staff at Hooters!! AND TIP THEM WELL !! They work hard to make us all have a happy day.

8) Be helpful to your fellow clubmembers, If you see someone touching or reaching in a car that shouldnt be, tell someone.

9)Remember, your with a group, what you do reflects on us all.

THE ROUTE:

Take Thorndale Rd West 3/10 of a mile towards expressway
Take ramp on the right to I-290 west toward Rockford (go 4.4 miles)
Stay to the right to take IL-53 North Local for 8/10 of a mile
Take exit on right I-90 West towards ROCKFORD
Continue on I-90 for 52.9 miles

SECOND PICK UP POINT, RANDALL RD, Line up on the Randall Rd. Westbound Ramp

THIRD PICK UP POINT STOP AT BELVIDERE OASIS ON TOLLWAY (proceed to area closest to exit ramp)

Merging back on expressway is a little trickey here
You may get separated because of the long line, be mindful that all that traffic cant move to the left when they see us riolling down the ramp. Be courteous and SAFE, we will slow the line down for you to catch up.,

CHANGE OF PLANS HERE, LINE UP ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP FROM OASIS TO EXPRESSWAY, WE WILL RADIO YOU AND OR CALL ONE OF YOU TO ADVISE APPROACHING , MERGE INTO LINE AS IT PASSES.


Take U.S. BR-20 (Business Route) E. State St. Exit
Turn right on E. State St go 1.2 miles
Pass Perryville Rd
PAY ATTENTION,1 block more, Turn Right on North Mill Rd.

Turn Rt on Argus Dr.
