why can't I upload a avatar and the pictures on my sig don't show up, is there a post count limit before you can do it?

No post count limitation, but there are dimension and size limitations.

Those settings are currently:

Avatars: 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB
Signatures: 500 by 100 pixels or 9.8 KB

The thing is that for the avatars it doesn't have a place to paste the link/URL or to upload it from my computer

And for the sigs it only shows the link

I looked into it and can't figure it out, I'll let the webmaster know.
