This past weekend I was the guest of Jeff Courtney Motorsports for the entire race weekend at Road America. This is the first time I've gone to any type of race. It was so much fun! Road America is a beautiful area, and it was very interesting watching the various types of cars take all of those interesting curves. For one of the races on Saturday, I got to watch the start of the race (and first few laps) from the starting tower, right next to the guy waving the green flag. I then watched the rest of the race from pit row, which was very interesting watching the crews. At the end of the day, I got a ride in the pace car around the track. To top it off, Jeff Courtney won his race on Sunday! Jeff, his crew and his family treated me like I was one of their own. It was a great weekend. I think I'm going to have to go back to Road America!
