So i figured i would start a new thread seeing as this next year is going to be a huge turning point in my build.

I have been fortunate enough to land a job at a performance shop, AD Motorsportz... and we have made the decision to make the camaro a pretty serious build. Our goal is for a 900-1000whp street car. I have decided that i am not going to do an "all out race car" build. Because i miss driving the car really. So that being said no expense will be spared as i want to keep it as durable as i can as well as test a couple concepts out. So here goes.

i finished 2014 by running my new personal best at a 10.93 @ 129mph with this setup.

    -Forged LS3 6.2L
    *Diamond Pistons (10:1 CR)
    *Callie Compstar H-beam Rods
    *Stock Crank
    *ARP studs throughout the build
    *LS9 Head gasket
    *Stock Cam
*.600" Lift Platinum Dual Spring Kit for LS Engines. Retainers,
    Locaters, Locks and Seals. 155lbs@1.780" 380 lbs@1.180
    400lbs@1.130" coil bind @1.070
*LS3 double roller timing chain set
    *Melling High Volume Oil Pump
    *Stainless Steel Exhaust valves
*Heads CNC ported with Competition Valve Job
    *ATi Dampener
    *Stock Intake Manifold
    *Stock Throttle Body

    -Turbo setup
    *rear mounted twin turbos
    *48mm Tial WG
    *no intercooler
    *max boost setting of 11-12psi

    -Stock Tranny
*McLoud RXT Twin disc Clutch (custom pressure plate)
    *Tick remote bleeder
    *GTO reservoir separation kit
    *LG motorsports short shifter

    -Stock Rear end
    *yup, bone stock

    -Fuel system
    *ZL1 Fuel pump
    *ADM FPCM
    *ID1000 Injectors
    *AEM Water/Meth injection system

    -Wheel setup
    *V6 Rear Brake swap
    *c5 17" zo6 wheels
    *hoosiers 10x28 slicks

All current tuning is done by myself with the help of Matt@FSP to who helped with my initial tunes and tips and tricks as i progress as well as my current Mentor Adam@ADmotorsportz

This is what she looked like at the end of 2014...

next will be what future plans are...

what is to come for 2015...

    -Motor will stay the same

-AD Motorsportz upgrade Manual 6 speed tranny
*upgrading syncros and hoping for the best
*McLoud RXT Twin disc still being run

    -ZL1 rear end conversion
    *Rear pumpkin (3.70 gear)
    *Axles
    *Drive shaft
    *Hubs
    *Etc...

    -Turbo System
*Single Engine Bay mounted 82mm Borg warner S482sx Turbo (Drivers side)
    *60mm TurboSmart WG
    *Tial Q Type BOV
    *Treadstone 1200+HP Intercooler
    *Custom 4" turbo back exhaust
    *stock manifolds flipped forward

    -Fuel system
    *ID1000 Injectors
*Squash Dual 450lph Return style Fuel hat
    *-8an Feed line
    *Stock hard line return
    *Aeromotive mechanical fuel regulator
    *Aftermarket Fuel rails (undecided yet)
    *hobbs switch

    -Wheel setup
    *undecided

all this being said. the goal is to get her running a solid 20-22psi which should net me approximately 1000-1100whp. It is going to be a long hard winter but will be worth it next year.

There are a couple things i need to address with the current motor as the previous builder i believe has possibly left me with some issues. So it will be a lot of tedious work. We are hoping to have it done by march and take her down to TX2k15 with a couple other shop vehicles.

i will update as we progress

Can't wait to see her run. We have to make some serious passes next year. I Malay need some more shift point adjustments. Should have my brake issue solved.

You got that right PSJ. I'm looking forward to your next year "plans" as well.

Better buy that GLD season pass while it's still half price.

I saw on FB that he got a new car. Was not that clear on if he still had the Camaro.
