So, i just got back from picking my daughter up from day care, decided to take her for a spin. After backing out of the parking lot i put the shifter in "M" and discoverd "SPORT" mode. WOW, i hate the transmission shifting and i know its programing not the tranny itself, SPORT is a vast improvment! Does anyone have any "user beware" about driving in Sport?

Yeah, when on the highway, give it a rev in sport mode, then acclerate while it's still rdy to give that power from the lower gear, then hold on.

I just used sport mode for the first time yesterday around town, then got on the highway, and I forgot I was still in sport mode, and like Blackhawk said, I went to pass someone, I revved it and then was like whoa, hold on !!! lol

Just move the shifter down to "M" and don't touch the buttons on the steering wheel, the car is in sport mode, if you touch the buttons on the steering wheels then the car goes to manual mode, if you have a newer 2010 or 2011 and are in manual mode and want to go back to sport mode just push the "+" on the steering wheel for about 5 sec and will go back to sport mode, if you have a earlier 2010 and want to go back to sport mode need to move the shifter back to "D" and then put it back on "M".Originally posted by sal1951 View PostLast edited by svtjackal; 03-25-2011, 08:51 PM.|.....Go Fast.......................| ||

I thought I was the only one who didn't know about sport mode. I had the car over a year before I found out you didn't need to tap shift in sport mode if you didn't want to. I even did 1/4's at the track in regular auto.Originally posted by CAMARO SS View Post
