Funky radio display

Anyone seen this? Only happens in the bitter cold. At least so far. And it won't shut off. Even when I turn the car completely off and open the door. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359753474.439622.jpg

Woah. No, have not had that happen. Need to show it to the dealer when it is happening.

I had something similar. I unplugged the fuse to the radio and plugged it back in. Radio was reset. You might have to reset the time, date and radio stations.

The display timed out after a minute or so. When I turned it back on its fine. That's the second time it happened. First time was last winter.

First winter I had mine, a few times the display was completely blank when it was cold, but it didn't stay on after key off/door open. There ended up being a tech note on it, and the display needed to be replaced. Something about solder joints not being good, I think. Once I was able to show it to the dealer, they gave the info to the Tech Center, and I got a new radio face.
