What you all think? (Wheel idea)

Thanks for the feed back. A guy I work with does body work and custom painting. I'm fixing a computer of his right now and he said he could do it for $400.

I like the idea but I'm afraid it might be too busy like mentioned. Going to get a photoshop from farther out to see what both wheels on one side looks like.

The guy saw my car yesterday and thinks painting the whole wheel CFM and then the 5 spokes Red would look better. Make it a 2 piece wheel look. Don't know how I like that idea.

i say do it ...it would look awesome I myself was looking for some kinda red/blk combo wheels to put on one day but haven't found it just yet.

Again like previously stated, paint is not going to hold up on wheels. The first rock that slings up will chip the paint and the rest well begin to peel, I still think your best option is powder coating. I would hate to see you spend money on something that will only last a few months.

I really like the original design with the first picture. But i dont like it that much on the farther picture...

Yeah, might be too busy with all of the spokes done up. Not nearly the same amount of color, but wonder about getting the 45 anniversary logo on the center caps... Much more subtle

you can paint the wheels and they will last . Had a set of BBM's years ago that i had on my daily driver that we painted the center section . Had those wheels on it for 8 yrs and still looked just as good as when we first painted them.Typically rocks don't bounce up from the tires and hit the rims, they bounce away from the rubber ,unless you drive like the General Lee down gravel roads.I say paint away !! Then you can have the design you want . btw i would keep the red to one spoke ,looks much nicer
