C5G has a CafePress store (there's a link in the C5G Merchandise sub forum, and the direct link is here: Chicago 5th Gen Club Merchandise)
The posts for CafePress are handled by the forum, automatically posting the emails that we get from CafePress that have promo codes in them, that should be good for our C5G store at CafePress. No, we don't have a marketing agreement with CafePress, rather the posts were intended to be a way to get the promo codes out to all of you when we get them.
If nobody finds them useful, we could turn them off, if preferred.

Thank you for your clarification. I know I tried before to use one of their promo codes & it didn't work on our merchandise but maybe it's useful to have the advertising for Cafe Press maybe someone out there finds the posts useful especially at Christmas time funny there is a Cafe Press post almost everyday but not a direct link post for our merchandise that pops up everyday. I would rather see our banner especially if the club doesn't get paid by this non sponsor site = ) Thanks again for the clarification and taking the time out of your busy day to clarify.Originally posted by Toasty View PostC5G has a CafePress store (there's a link in the C5G Merchandise sub forum, and the direct link is here: Chicago 5th Gen Club Merchandise)

If thats the case maybe C5G should be highlighted in the banner instead of having to jump to a different link...just sayin maybe more $ can be generated but I guess its sufficient the way it is thanks for clarification from you also TonyOriginally posted by TonyNo View PostThe club takes in a small portion of sales from CafePress, so...

I'm testing out and seeing if I can get our link/banner in the posts, it may take a few tries to get it working correctly... stay tuned!

Got some things to work out with it, but it's defintely on our radar.Originally posted by TonyNo View PostThat is in the short-term plans.
That being said, we're always looking for help getting donations together for events, etc (like the SSZL575 Memorial Poker Run coming up next month, etc) Not exactly cash flow, but along those lines. Let me know if you have ideas on that front.

Thanks Rick its all for a good cause...our club that we ALL take responsibility for and represent.
