I have been thinking of the possibility to have a chat room or something of that nature to make it easier for members online to communicate with each other. Just throwing this idea out there. I mean it would be easier to have group chats/private chats with one another compared to pm. What do fellow members think about this?

I can see the good in that but I would also be concerned that some great info which is put out there in threads may not get out there for everyone to see if we just answer a chat inquiry with a response -
I see your concern with this. Sorry if I wasn't clear but I meant for this just to be something where members could just talk about anything with whoever is online. I've seen this come up on many forums. And that's what it comes down to, the participation on the boards seems to suffer. There is a ChatBox available by VB though.

You can enter "chicago5thgen" as the room name and go from there.Comment
