It seems I like all my friends here at C5G are spending a lot of time watching the news in disbelief.
I know that probably several of our members have friends or family in Europe or Ukraine affected by this War, and yes it is clearly a War.
I want to extend my prayers to all of those affected by this War,
This conflict has caused us all to take a breath and realize the freedoms we enjoy in this country. Somewhat from time to time I realize how petty are difficulties are compared to what others are enduring.
My prayers and thoughts are with all those affected. In my heart, I can only hope and trust that God has a bigger plan to make the world a safer place when this all comes to a conclusion.
In the meantime, lets all pray that the politicians whom we may or may not have elected do the right thing, make the difficult choices, to ensure that our safety, dignity and reputation on the world stage as a leader in peace and democracy is not tarnished or impinged upon. We can only lead the world by example.
And Please pray for those innocent soles lost and their families !
