Define "else"? Sesson opener is coming up, of course we want people to come out. Tomorrow should be a good time, wish I could be there. The members meeting wasn't super well attended, and those who were there indicated that we should focus more on impromptu events, so how do you promote impromptu events more?

How about the board start promoting the season opener. From the looks of the post no one is pushing for more people to come on our site or Facebook. It seems the only time we're going to hear from the board is when your feelings get hurt.
So are there any plans for the season ?
Is it only going to be impromptu as you say ?
Are we paying dues to have a place to post "who's going anywhere tonight" ?
If someone does take the time to put a ride together like White Lightning did YES promote it. If you can't make at least say something anything. You want to appoint yourselves to run the club you have to participate and help. If I'm not mistaken some of the board has not been heard from for at least a month.
I'm don't feel it's right to charge I believe $35 for a membership and pay for you guys to have dinner once a month and not promote the club.

My feeling aren't hurt. You know we don't have an Event Coordinator, nor have we had anyone step up to volunteer to fill that spot, so the rest of us have to fill in the best we can - I'll be the first to admit that being an EC is not my forte either. So if you are used to and expect dozens of post bumps pushing events, feel free to contribute... Everybody that was at the March meeting had an opportunity to voice concerns and thoughts on what we can do to improve....yet very few showed up, or took up the invitation to contact any of us board members with thoughts and concerns. We do still plan to try and put together a slate of our usual events for the year, but are they planned yet? Unfortunately, no. Ultimately, we're going to need help to pull off events this year, so let me know what you want to help with. That being said, if you want to discuss further, send me a PM so we can keep this thread on topic.
