I just went back and looked at the thread from last year... we didn't actually schedule to leave the south holland area oasis until almost noon. the westin meet point was to leave by 10 AM. I don't know that the westin group needs to leave by 7, but 8 would still get us there plenty early. Outside of the couple of quick meet spots, I think we only had the lunch stop and one other stop on the way down.

I reread that post earlier today as well to get a better understanding why it seemed like we got there so late last year. If I recall we had two meet points, two quick stops and one lunch break, so that is four 15 minute stops and one half hour stop. That adds one and 1/2 hour, the time zone adds one hour, so that's 2 1/2 plus 3 1/2 driving time = 6 hrs total from the Westin Hotel.Comment

I think we arrived around 5 or 6. I can't verify this on my end. Maybe someone else took pics when we got there and the time on their camera was set correctly?
As stated, I think a couple hours earlier is all we need.

OK, so we rolled in around 4:30.
Two hours earlier should do it.

we live in chicago at Foster & I94 if anyone coming down that way towards the skyway wants to meet up. We have a big school parking lot right next to our house that we can park in and all leave together. We're three blocks off the highway. Where is the first meetup point?
