For those who are worried about breaking and getting the car out of the track that night I will be coming out with a company trailer. I don't plan to be breaking mine as it's only a V-6 (just wanted to show off one of our race trailers) so worst case I could haul a broken one back to my shop in southern Wisconsin where it would be safe over night and someone could follow me home with my car. Saddly I would not be able to haul the broken car to IL as the trailer will only have our dealer plate on it. But at least the car is would be in good safe hands over night. Plus there is a pretty good Chevy dealer 10miles from my shop and 60 miles from Da Grove nobody would ever link the two together :-)

I personally had the back end kick out on me several times last week. I didn't go into the wall but did have a pretty good scare in the top of second one or two times. But I am pushing over 600+hp at the wheel so I did expect this. You should be fine though.

I know what mine was like when I turned everything off the one time.... Didn't have the nerve to do it again... I might try again after RA.. But, even at my power levels it's a monster to launch correctly w/o the computer

It should be in the 40s in the morning and if the sun is out and mid 50s, the track will be good. I am getting there about about when it opens 8-9am then let the car cool for an hr. This is gonna be fun, dont puss out guys

This was my plan too. wanted to pop the hood, and let the heat out. Still not sure if Im going to put the DRs on at the track or at home and drive on them. They are bald, but could use a good warm up drive there.

If I make it I should be able to get my hands on a go-pro and will let people use it on the car. Also have a hd video camera I could bring with.
