It would be nice if we could petition over on C5 Forum to get clubs to park with each other. There was a couple of comments made. Im sure if we give them hell over there we might get lucky lol.

It's a nice idea and I knew those posts would get attention there but I don't think it will be taken appropriately, where do they draw the line on giving preferential club parking, they do it for one they have to do it for everyone, or do they cut the line at X amount of cars, it's a tough subject to deal with. I think the solution is to get rolling EARLY in the morning if we want to be able to park together, usually as in last year, once we have parked in a certain area people go back to the spots and area they first arrived at and it's not a problem for us to stay together then on the following days. AT least last year it was not.

I am concerned about leaving too late for that very same reason,

I will start stenciling the C5G logo on the 35 cones I have in my garage, LOL

That's a good idea, send them ahead with the cones that we are not suppose to put up, hehe But seriously

I've been reading this on C5 as well. There's no way they can keep people from saving parking spaces. People are going to put chairs in their spaces anytime they leave the lot. Are they going around and collecting all the chairs? Think not.

I don't know why they wouldn't take club requests and do a parking layout for them. It really wouldn't be that hard to do as long as people obeyed the layout. That probably wouldn't happen either.

So yeah, the best thing would be to get there ASAP and stake our claim. The more cars we have the more difficult it will be, I think. If we have 20-30 cars, we may want to go towards the back and call it good. If we have the whole hotel like it sounds, there will be cars parking in the front and the one side of the motel that didnt' have our people in it last year.

Here's an idea for them to consider; The club that registers the most cars get VIP parking!

Not yet. I'm sure we'll post up info soon, but I suspect that our last meet spot (Southland Lincoln Oasis) will probably leave between 8 or 9.
