so I finally put her on the dyno for some base line numbers. she's coming in right around what I'm seeing for manual 6th gens.

    401whp / 441tq at the wheels.

here at my shop we are going to be developing an off-road x-pipe. but we wanted to compare to another unit out already. so I opted in for a flowmaster 3" x-pipe mid section(retains all cats) paired up to the flowmaster outlaw axle back system as well. overall the system is not only lighter but much more streamline. you can see all the bends and crimps that the stock system has. as well as the massive muffler setup. so we went ahead and installed it just after I did my first dyno pulls.

area where I had to cut the OEM exhaust

    after removal of the bracket

first impression on sound... awesome. it's not too loud IMO. but has just the right rumble and girgle. I will upload videos tonight.

but after install i threw her right back on the dyno..and really was impressed with the results.

mind you this is absolutely no tuning. and dyno results of before and after are only a couple hours apart and both at operations temp.

it picked up 14whp / 45tq to the wheels...

yes that seemed a little high at first. but we did over 5 pulls and even reset the dyno and software to make sure and actually saw a peak of 417hp and 490tq...

needless to say we are excited to get our system on and testing.

                  ***update***

Well been awhile since I have updated. Shops been crazy busy so you know what that means. Mine takes a backseat.

But we are getting her out back on the schedule.

Went to GLD last Friday in pursuit of an 11 second time slip. Which I did get finally.

                  11.96 @ 116mph - 1.757 60ft. Not too shabby for a stock car on a tire basically.

This next week I will be removing my cats and tuning it for e85. Hunting for a 11.5x pass.

Then the turbo setup will be finished..

Thanks bud . I recently have gone 11.83 after removing my cats. In the process of tuning with e85. Hoping to see an 11.5x here soon.

I love mine. It's better then my 5th gen in every way possible.

                          Very impressive machines all around.

Shoot, stock autos with bolt one, e85, and tire have gone high 10s. It's crazy.

Yeah thats nuts. It takes a lot to get the 5th gens into the 11s.

Yup. Mine was. Though, got in to 11.9x finally even with a leaking crank seal and 3 busted coilovers (unknown at the time)

The Gen6 carries over about 2 or 3 parts (cosmetic) from Gen5, so total overhaul there.

Even on the street both our SS and ZL1 substantially better off the line manners with regard to tendency to wheel hop, spin, etc. Though, to be fair, both our prior Gen5 were manual and both our Gen6 are auto.

                                ***update***

                                Man been awhile.

Well let's see.... I was able to run an 11.83 my next time out to the track after I made a couple slight adjustments to the tune.

Shortly after that I then tuned it on e85 and made 446whp. Only mods then were the flowmaster catback and a cat delete. But never made it back to the track.

I then started the fabbing of my turbo kit. So ill attach some pics and work hard to update this a little more when I get time. Hoping to be on the road within a week or 2.
