    WITHIN MINUTES OF POSTING THIS THERE WAS IMMEDIATE INTEREST. SO I AM UNOFFICIALLY CLAIMING THE 3RD AS A TRACK DAY. GIVES A COUPLE WEEKS FOR THOSE TO PLAN AND GET READY.


    WHEN: AUGUST 3RD, 2014 - 9:00AM to 6:00PM

    WHERE: GREAT LAKES DRAGAWAY - 18411 1st St, Union Grove, WI 53182

    HOW MUCH: $45 to Race....$15 to Spectate

    So i have been talking to PSJ, and I think it's time for a C5G track day. Let's try and gauge what day works best for the majority and get some of these camaros going down the track again.

    I'm calling out everyone to cheeseburger races!!! Who wants some?

    Jim where to been? PSJ wants a lane.

    Shoot, everyone should take a trip down the track. Doesn't matter how fast you are, it's always a good time.

    So who is in? Sundays usually work best for me.

      I'm definitely interested in going. I haven't ran it at the track yet so I'm hoping to by the end of summer.

          that right there is evidence that we need a track day....

          I am officially gonna plug AUGUST 3RD, 2014 as a track day at GLD. They have open test and tune all day. Mark it down and be there. I will setup a meet up spot and cruise up for those interested.

                      If I can get the rear-end done in time count me in. I really want to see what the car can do with traction. Last time I was getting one wheel burnouts. So time to go 3.91's and a truetrac. I am leaning toward doing this myself, anyone have any pointers, PM me?

                        I'm still running a stock rear end ;-)

                        Just take your time. If its your first time doing it, go very slow.

                          Jeremy, does GLD have any rules? Such as helmet or anything?

                            Sure do. Anything "technically" 13.99 or faster you need a helmet .

                            And anyone racing needs pants. That's about it.
